I am searching for information about the Orris Cranson family. He purchased land in Onondaga in 1836, appears in the 1840 & 1850 census records, and was one of the early settlers. I believe Orris died around 1858. Also, his father Jonathan Cranson, age 85, was living with the family in 1850, and probably died soon thereafter. Orris was 59 in 1850, wife Betsey (45), children: Sylvester (19), Darwin (21), Austin (17), Caroline (16). Does anyone have access to cemetery records for Onondaga? Any information about the Cranson family would be welcome.
