I am looking for "Nettie" Harkness, who was born in Leslie, Michigan around 1858. Her mother Hannah Lockwood died in childbirth and Nettie was raised until at least 1870 by James and Harriet Harkness. Her father went to fight in the Civil War. In the 1870 census, she is listed as Harkness.
