I got a death certificate for my ggggrandfather - and I can't read his father's first name. Anyone want to try at decoding it? The son is James Green(e) - the father is --- Greene, and the mother is Esther Gleeson. James died in Pike, Wyoming Co, NY The certificate is at www.freewebs.com/marr794/green.htm Thanks, Ann Marr Ann Tracy Marr, author of Round Table Magician a Regency romance available February 23, 2006 from www.awe-struck.net
It appears the father's name is John Green and, as you wrote, the mother is Esther Gleeson [Gleason] both old Rhode Island families.
