My Lyon family apparently were in Ingham. Harriet E. Lyon Casterline is descendant of Asher Lyon, II and Mary Charity Smith. Chalon Lyon of Ingham Co., MI is her brother. What I gather most of Harriet's siblings moved to Michigan. I found a James Currant in the 1870 census, Ingham co., Leslie twp, roll 675, p. 184R, living with a Michael Prahanm(?) family, as a railroad worker, James was 50, born in Ireland, as was Michael. I really need to find James, to see if he was our g-g-grandfather. Does anyone know of other records of James in Ingham county, or know of where to find Railroad worker information?
