    3. Norma Does the book on Leslie list a John W Wilcox who lived in Leslie from about 1855 until his death in 1911. His children were: Charles, John, Mary, Martha, Bryon and Melissa. Thanks Dan Wilcox -----Original Message----- From: norma harkness [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, September 17, 2002 8:53 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [MIINGHAM] GUY HARKNESS In the book "Leslie, A Place In Time, it mentions that James Holland Harkness and his wife Jane Eliza (Overacker) Harkness had a son Guy Harkness who would have been born between 1885 and 1893. Yet, I have never found that son anywhere nor a death certificate or found him listed on the census. The family moved to South Dakota around 1891 and then on to Washington by 1900. How can I find out if there was a child named Guy? Thanks Norma Harkness ==== MIINGHAM Mailing List ==== The USGenWeb Archives may contain information about the families you are researching. My Morton's came from County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. Then migrated to Ontario. From there many came in the USA through Michigan, and New York. There is a line of Morton's from Virginia/WVA, and MA. Then the other problem is for us Morton's is the Scotish line, English line, Australia line. Big Mess!!! I would keep posting on the county messege board in AR that he came from. And post on his mother's maiden name messege board if you have it. In addition be sure to check the census for Robert and see what you can come up with. Good luck, and keep intouch. I will send you an invitation to the Morton family history site I have started. Sincerely, Lucille Morton

HLINOVSKY died abt. 1933 and is buried in unmarked grave in country cemetery near Bangor, Van Buren County MI. Searched all cemetery records and indexes for that and near-surrounding counties with negative results. County clerk has no record and visual drive search turned up nothing. Was suggested a death index state search be done for 1933 or near years. I don't know how easy or complicated such a search is. Wish it was online now like other states.Any kind soul out there with help or ideas? Thanks.
