Turn right on Webberville Rd and it is about 3/4 mile on the left. Or other direction Take I-96 to the Webberville Exit, I think it is mile 121 Exit and go North on Stockbridge RD. (M-52 ) to end and turn right on Grand River Ave. (old US16) Go approximately 1 mile and turn left on Webberville RD.

    3. I just joined the list. I am looking for James RHODES born June 1842. James married Marion A FORBES born Sept 1847. Marion was born in New York according to 1900 MI Ingham Census. James and Marion had 5 children: Arthur m. Freida FRENCH, Ida m. Louis DEEG, Bessie m. John E WILSON, Constant James m. Jessie Beatrice NEWSOME, and Glen A. m.Katie SHIRTS. Constant James is my husbands Great Grandfather. I have some on this family from Constant children down. Would like to find more on James and his parents I will share what I do have.     1. 1850's to 1900 Ingham Co. Makeley, Makely Township of Bunker Hill
    2. Looking to find info on the Zacheriah, Zechariah, Zachary Makeley, Makely family that moved there from Monroe County NY about 1850. Zacheriah was married three times as far as we can ascertain at this time, however, wife 2 and 3 may be the same person. 1st wife was Sally Ann b. abt 1822 NY d. 1860 of consumption according to MI death reports. They had Catharine M., Zilfra, William, and S.M. Before 1864 he marries Emily b. abt 1841 and has Alfred, Ettio Acres?, Almeda, and Blanch. Then by 1880 he is married to Emaline. Zacheriah was a farmer born in NY as the son of William Makeley and Christine Harvey in 1818/9. In the 1850 census he also has a Flavuis M. Davis male age 13 living with them that may be Sally Ann's brother. Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated. Have much more on the NY family and am willing to share. They traveled to Erie Pennsylvania, then by boat to Detroit MI. where they secured oxen and journed with determination back through swamps and forests to Wheatfiled twp. Ingham co . Here they homesteaded the land. James Russell Pollock 1995 still speaking, have the original land grant signed by James Buchanan, President of US. Early surveyors had characterized the territory as an"unpenetrable swamp forever unsuited as an habitation for man."
