I'm looking for any information anyone might have about this individual, Christine King. She was born in 1875, in Michigan (probably the Upper Peninsula) according to the 1900, 1910 censuses from Houghton County, Michigan. On those census records, her mother, Sarah King, (maiden name unknown) is shown to have been born in Wisconsin, and her father in Canada. Her father's native tongue is listed as French, so I'm thinking perhaps that would have been Quebec, but that could be wrong too. The only clue I have on her father's name is a reference to her birth in the IGI, and there he is called "John", which may or may not be correct. She had two children that I know of, Edwin C. Mills b. 1905 and James Mills b. 1896, in Calumet, MI. She died in 1953 in Calumet, MI. My son's family is descended from that Edwin C. Mills, and I am trying to help him with his search.
