The dead are Mrs John Dionne, Edward Dionne, 8, Peter Dionne, and infant, Aminia Dionne, 12 and a girl named Racine. The fire started when the family was asleep. Mrs Dionne got out of the house, but returning to rescue a child, perished in the flames. Her body was found with the infant clasped in her arms.
