I don't know if she became a orphan, Andrew & Anna could have died? Or she could have been put up for adoption? In Allouez & Copper City ,MI she was known as being a Niva(maiden name) I know she was living in Allouez before 1902 and married to John Korby because that is the year her first child Elma was born. Since John was born in Allouez, MI not Finland, (he immigrated in 1873) I assume they were married in MI. How do I find out what happened to Andrew & Anna and how Sophie became a Niva?
