Marion- I don't know if there is a connection, but it is another coincidence. My Alexander McLeod came to Houghton County from Huron County, Ontario in the 1880's. This is directly adjacent to Bruce County. Alexander's parents, Archibald and Jelsy McLeod, are buried in the South Kinloss Cemetery in Bruce County, Ontario. This is a rather interesting site, which has many cemeteries for Ontario, Canada.
