Yes Kay The Family History Center is a very great place to get films and fich, they also have a booklet that is free for the asking that has step by step how to start my family history that is a good thing to have. Buy the way I think the films are $3.50 each and the fish are .15 cents a piece. Sometimes when you run into a brick wall someone there may be able to help you to, so I would highly recommend a trip to your nearest Family History Center. ---- Original Message ----- From: Earlnkay@aol.com Sent: Monday, May 12, 2003 12:43 PM To: MIHOUGHT-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MIHOUGHT] McLeods in 1920 Why don't you check the films for death records that may have been filmed by the Salt Lake Geneolical Society go to www.familysearch.org go to library and then to catalog put in michigan houghton. I'm looking at a film right with deaths from 1901 to 1911. you can do this from your nearest Family History Center if they don't have the film you want there you can order it for about $3.00 Kay earlnkay@aol.com ==== MIHOUGHT Mailing List ==== Houghton County Land Patents ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/mi/houghton/land/houghton.txt ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
