    2. In two weeks were are going to spend a few days in the Eagle Harbor and Hancock areas. My great grandmother and her relatives (the Hoffenbachers and Hoffenbeckers) first immigrated to Eagle Harbor before settling in Hancock. Is there a cemetery index on-line so I can know where to look for graves? I think my great grandmother (her married name was Margaretha Schneider) is buried at Maple Hill(?). Her sister Catharina Ruhl may be buried there too. I undertstand that there are Hoffenbeckers buried both at Eagle Harbor and in Hancock but I don't know where. While I am asking, where is the bets place to buy pasties? Bob Peck California

    3. Hello Bob, Cemeteries are located here for Keweenaw county http://www.mfhn.com/keweenaw/index.html And here for Houghton county http://www.mfhn.com/houghton/index.html As for pasties, that I would suppose it a matter of taste. I have heard that Sheldon's bakery in Houghton are very good. You will have to try a few, at different places and you can judge them. Enjoy the visit.
