I have Family Tree Maker, version 9. When I print a standard descendant's chart the background comes out blue. It used to come out white, but I don't know if it was before I got this version. Does anyone else have this experience? It takes much longer to print, and isn't so handy for notes. Thanks, Ernie

After you select print from the file menu, a printer menu will drop down. At the bottom right hand side it will say "print in color", click on the check mark to remove it and your document will print in black and white. It is , indeed, faster. Barb, Lakeland, Fl.
