I am trying to trace my great-uncle, Thomas Hocking, who went to the Calumet area about 1919. I wonder if he was still in the area in 1953. Tom was born in Bodmin, Cornwall, UK to Joseph and Mary Hocking in 1872. I assume he was married but the only indication I have found is that his wife could have been Johannah Sherman or Mary Elizabeth Tonkin married in the last quarter of 1895 in Redruth,CON. There are no listings for Thomas Hocking.
