    1. [MIHOUGHT] circa 1900 letter from Michigan Mine SAMUEL BRADY
    2. Hi listers - I have been rummaging through an old box of "things" kept by my great grandfather Peter Olof Anderson. In it is a letter from Mrs. Samuel Brady, thanking the miners- employees- of the Michigan Mine for their 6 foot flower arrangment sent for her husbands funeral. It is very touching and nicely written, and I'm wondering if there are any relatives that might want to have a look at this - I could scan it and send it to you. I know I wish I could find letters that my relatives wrote to someone else! I'm not sure if the Michigan Mine was in Houghton - if not let me know and I'll forward this to the correct site. I do think my grgrndfather was living in the Houghton area at that time though. Thanks - Kris Johnson-Burrill Michigan
