His parents are Mathis Mathisen Niskavara born 1841 in Tervula, Finland and Eva Coisa Eriksdatter born 1832 in Tervula, Finland. Two sisters: Ida and Vilhelmine and one brother: Mattis. I think that there is a researcher with the name of Niskavaara in Norway who was or is looking for that name.Now if i can just remember her name... I am checking Ilmonen's index but so far have seen no mention of the above name.This has to be your Christian Mattson you have looked so long for..:) Alicia Ps i can check Hiski records for you later.I was told once that Norwegian records for Vadso are not available as they were burned or destroyed during the war?
