Thomas H. McCormick was born in 1857 (although his obit says 1867) and died in 1925. He married Charlotte Ellen McDonough (Lottie) and they had Alice abt. 1892, Charles Ernest 1893, Lyla E. 1896 and Robert J. 1899. At the time of Thomas' death Alice was still in Houghton and was known as Mrs. W. C. Flye, Charles still lived at home and was in the United States Coast Guard service, Lyla was living in Detroit and Robert was living in Cincinnatti, Ohio. Thomas was a Captain in the US Life Saving Services ( United States Coast Guard service) at Old Portage Lake Ship Canal and Two Hearts Station.
