I have finally tracked down a MacDonald cousin of my grandmother. She was born Laura MacDonald, known to the family as 'Lolie MacDonald' even after she married Garrett Johnston. He died in Evanston, IL on April 16, 1964 and was sent to Houghton for interment. She died in Nov. of 1984 and I would assume was also buried up there. Does anyone have a guess about which cemetery and how I might get information? I couldn't find them on the Dibean Marriage List. Is there another place I might look? They were both born in 1893.
