I have been searching for the death certificate and burial place of Johannes Gull died July 10, 1901 in Hancock. According to the City Clerk of Hancock they have no death record for him. His family came to Hancock from Finland in August 1900. My question did people sometimes bury their children without recording the death. And what's the chance of finding a grave this being the case? Thanks for any input
Hi, have you checked the Houghton County courthouse? I am sure that there were those families that didn't record deaths of newborns, but how old was Johannes when he died?
