My ancestor, ggg.grandfather William Henry Nichols/Nicholls, died on 4-10-1856 in the No. 2 shaft of the Central Mine and was the first mining casualty at the Central Mine. He left behind a widow with 7 children. We have never found an obituary, death record or burial place for him so if anyone on the list has any ideas how to locate this info., it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again! Joni Leffler
