    2. You just gave me a new clue to follow. My grandfather was born out of wedlock, I believe. He was born in 1890, and his family was Catholic. I have been looking for Baptismal info at the located Catholic churches and can find no info. But I did not know of St. Anthony Of Padua. I know he was baptized. Do you have any info where the records from St Anthony's went? thanks for help

    3. You could try the diocese offices in Marquette. If the records had gone to the Sacred Heart Church in Calumet, you may be out of luck as they had a fire and most of their records are gone.
