Hi, I just had a clue from the book on the Cemetery outside of Calumet by Kentala's farm.Alicia Quote, Sept.14 1900 Mr Max Gittler today purchased three acres of ground adjoining the town site of Lake View..The place will be nicely graded up and fenced in and will be used as a Jewish burial ground. There are about 40 Jewish families living in this vicinity and they have recoginzed the necessity for a cemetery for some time past and have been looking around for a suitable place..Heretofore people of Jewish origin who died in Calumet had to be taken to Marinette for burial, the cemetery at that place was the nearest Jewish burial ground to Calumet.
