I have Regina JACQUES who married William G SARAZEN in Upper Michigan: Regina JACQUES, age 19, of Lake Linden, Michigan, dau of Olivier JACQUES & Elodin POISSENT [sic], md 7 July 1908, St. Joseph¹s, Lake Linden, Michigan, William G. SARAZIN, lumberman, age 35, of Lake Linden, Michigan, son of Norbert SARAZIN & Isabella SMITH, Houghton County Marriage Records, Bk4, p 92. According to her tombstone in Mr. Calvary Cemetery, Regina was born 28 Apr 1888 & died OCT 18 1951. William SARAZIN¹s mother, Isabella SMITH, md first (1853 in Ontonagon, Michigan) Louis BOUCHER, whose parents were born in Ste-Genevieve, Berthier. Unable to determine where Louis was born, but he died in Houghton, MI, in 1861. Isabella SMITH md second Norbert SARAZIN (about 1861-1862). I also have a Norbert SARRAZIN, son of Pierre SARAZIN-SARRAZIN & Genevieve SAVOIE, who married Delphine DUPUIS 23 Jul 1844 in St-Norbert, Berthier. Pierre SARAZIN-SARRAZIN was the son of Francois SARAZIN & Marie-Francoise SYLVESTRE, who md in Berthier 14 Sep 1773. My questions: Are these SARAZINs and SARRAZINs all the same family? Need the parents (& their marriage data) of Francois SARAZIN, who md Marie-Francoise SYLVESTRE. Need the parents (& their marriage data) of Norbert SARAZIN, who md Isabella SMITH.
