You helped me rule out some bad info. It looks like Henrietta became a widow in Nov.1869 when Charles Warner shot and killed Joseph Lorenz in Houghton Village. In 1870 Warner was found not guilty of manslaughter per the Portage Lake Mining Gazette. It must have been an interesting trial. I wonder if there are court records from those times?
