And sometimes places in Michigan are confused with Minnesota. There is a Hancock near Chippewa County, Minnesota. That Hancock is about 40 miles to the north in Stevens County. Some people from my Chippewa County moved to that Hancock. I am stopping by the library today to see if I can find her obit. I might wait until tomorrow. I want to see her death record at the courthouse. I believe it is closed because of President Ford laying in state. I will post again on the Chippewa County, Minnesota board. I swear I have looked for her before.
