Halvor is one of the names. The only info I have is that he was 16 years old in 1866 and his birthday was July 1o, l850 {same date that you have}. This name came at the same time that I found the names of Peter, Ole, Elias, and my great grand father Ivar Opland. For more info, please read the previous messaages starting in Aug. 2006 concerning The Opland Family from Calumet. Your message also stated that you have a picture with the name Lottie Turk on it.I also have a picture of a Lottie (no last name} taken in Calumet Michigan. I do not know who Lottie is, but she is in the picture with Ivar and his family. Do you know Halvor's parents' names? Maybe there is a connection between Halvor and Ivar.
