Regarding the SARRAZIN family just discussed on the (Quebec-Research) list (15 Jan)Š I have Regina JACQUES who married Norbert SARAZEN in Upper Michigan: Regina JACQUES, age 19, of Lake Linden, Michigan, dau of Olivier JACQUES & Elodin POISSENT [sic], md 7 July 1908, St. Joseph¹s, Hancock, Michigan, William G. SARAZIN, lumberman, age 35, of Lake Linden, Michigan, son of Norbert SARAZIN & Isabella SMITH, Houghton County Marriage Records, Bk4, p 92. William SARAZIN¹s mother, Isabella SMITH, md second (1861 in Ontonagon, Michigan) Louis BOUCHER, who was born in Ste-Genevieve, Berthier. I also have a Norbert SARRAZIN, son of Pierre SARAZIN-SARRAZIN & Genevieve SAVOIE, who married Delphine DUPUIS 23 Jul 1844 in St-Norbert, Berthier. Pierre SARAZIN-SARRAZIN was the son of François SARAZIN & Marie-Françoise SYLVESTRE, who md in Berthier 14 Sep 1773. My questions: Are these SARAZINs and SARRAZINs all the same family? Need the parents (& their marriage data) of François SARAZIN, who md Marie-Françoise SYLVESTRE. Need the parents (& their marriage data) of Norbert SARAZIN, who md Isabella SMITH.
