Isle Royale is cut off fromt he rest of the world until spring. A few fisherman , national park caretakers and Mrs Gordon MacKenzie, teacher, of the three pupil school, make up the colony Violet Johnson, short wave radio operator and daughter of Holger Johnson, a fisherman, sent word to Houghton Mich. , listerners that all was snug for the holiday We're not worried about a thing, she said.
