I am rather convinced that this is Victor's and Catherine's marriage: Victor Korpi Father: Herman Korpi Mother: Not Known Katrina M. Jakela Father: Thomas Jakela Mother: Kustaava Korhonen Marriage: 16 AUG 1902 Hancock, Houghton, Michigan And obviously they started a farmstead, according to Rev. Ilmonen's Michigan Finnish Index PAGE 3 Extracted from: Michigan American Suomalaisten Historia 1926 by Rev. Ilmonen Rauhanlaakso, Chassell Victor Korpi, Victor Kohtala and Johan Luoma from Kauhajoki. William Jääskelä, Kristian Mikkola, Peter Saari. Note, that Victor is from Kauhajoki. Korpi is rather common name in Finland, so there is a proof that I am on the right track. I can see some of the children in the 1920 census (below), should need to see the original document.
