Hi Alicia Thanks for the reply: The reason I thought he served during WW2 was because he kept in touch with my folks and there is a picture of him in a navy uniform at Kearsarge. I know he was discharged and was home for a short time and then he joined the army. I have a picture of him in an army uniform and on the back it says Fort Warren, Jan. 47. If he joined the navy when he was 17 I don't think he would have had a draft card. I don't ever remember getting a draft card as I joined the army when I was 17. I was wondering if there was a site where you could find the name of a serviceman and the years the person was in the service. Ernie
