"Victim of a Finlander's Bullet. Hancock, Mich., Jan 8. - Special Telegram. - Dr. Meloche, who was shot by the Finlander, Kandagas, early yesterday morning, died at 10 o'clock this morning. Dr. Meloche was about 35 years old and leaves a wife. He was assistant surgeon at the Quincy Mine for several years."
