I know they came from Kemi, Finland. They were the parents of my great grandma Mamie (Mae) Kargela who married John Rowe. I was unable to find any type of marriage or naturalization paperwork for them at the Houghton County Courthouse. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks Connie

Hi Connie, I believe that you are spelling that wrong, it may have been Americanized.
