My g-grandfather, Thomas Simons, was a violinist (he was a baker in real life). I'd like to know if anyone has any records of his playing or belonging to any orchestra in Calumet during the 1880s or early 1890s (we believe he died about 1891 or 92). They went to Marquette and later disbanded. Any info on that band would be greatly appreciated as I can not find out the names of Frank's brothers.
