Would there be a John Turk in your information? This is my grandfather who was also born in 1880 in Stopic Slovenia Yugoslavia. He immigrated in 1901 aboard the Kronprinz Wilhelm. He came to Houghton to live with his brother Frank Turk. He married my grandmother in 1906 and they lived in Calumet where their children were born.
