I have noticed that a company has a film of the 1874 Houghton Co state census for sale. Can anyone tell me if this is a name census or just the total number of people in various age groups Teresa Sullivan Lincoln Ne. Descendant of Sullivan's in Houghton co from early 1860 to 1877
Teresa, Hi Teresa! I believe that is the one that is only names of adult males. It is the strangest State census I have evewr seen. I can check for you on Weds. what it contains for sure if they still have it at the local Family History Library in Mt. Pleasant, MI. I haven't looked at it in awhile but it seems it was hard to go through.
