Hello Di, There are a number of Rule researchers on the list (and on the Cornwall lists also). Can you provide some names for your RULE's and their Birth, Marriage, and Death dates? My Rule emigrant ancestor is John Rule (b: 1829, Illogan Parish) baptised in Camborne Parish. He emigrated in 1853, and married Harriet Martin (B 1831 Kea parish) in St. Lawarence county New York. They migrated west to Wisconsin where two of John's sisters were living, and then to Ontonagon county where most of their children were born. In the mid 1880's they moved to Houghton County, the house they lived in still stands on M-26. In 1918 they moved to Alameda County, CA where their three surviving adult children lived, they died here in 1919. John's parents were Richard Rule and Mary Dunn, his Rule grandparents were Richard Rule and Honour Bosanko. Cat Nielsen Berkeley, CA
