    3. Hi Colleen, I have a feeling that may be where I find my great grandfather. John Girgen was his name but I have found it several different ways spelled. Girgen, Girgan, Gergin, Gergen, Görgen and his first name could also be Johannes. Do do have a list of the people in these poor farms in the area?
