TUBERCULOSIS SANITARIUM > I just noticed this: How do you obtain this information? My grandmother died Feb. 17, 1915. On the death certificate, Hanna Mattson; female; married; age 41 years, 9 months, 15 days; place of death, City of Hancock; cause of death, pulmonary tubercolis; birthplace, Michigan; occupation, housewife, parents, Erich Hoovisto, mother unknown. Her death certificate is completely different from any of the others that I have received from Houghton Co. It could just be that they changed the form. I am wondering if people with tuberculosis were in a sanitarium at this time and if there is information available.
