I am looking for any info. on my grandmothers side of the family. She was born in Houghton county, MI. Her name was Ruth Marie Shelley. I also was given the name kenton, is that part of houghton county? Anyways, she was born on April 15, 1912. Her father was Joseph theron Shelley, and mother Pearl Cynthia . I was thinking maybe they are listed in the 1910 census? I do believe that my grandmother and family moved away from there, to Canada, when she was a young girl. I don't know if they would be listed on the 1920 census or not. She had a lot of brothers and sisters, 2 brothers I believe still lived in Michigan until recently passing away. If anyone has access to the census, or has any other suggestions on how to find any info. out, please let me know.
