First child (Mary) born in Sheboygan WI and the next 10 children born in Houghton or Keweenaw County of Michigan. I found a 1860 US census page of Sheboygan which lists what I suspect may be Pauline's family. There are also a zillion Braun/Brown families but I can't make any firm connection to Louis Braun. I have considerable descendent information on Louis Braun but have not been successful in going back. I live in Laurium so a trip to Sheboygan is not out of the question. If there is anything that I can do for you here "on the ground", I would be happy to try.
