My grandmother on my mother's side was Mary Matilda OLESON Krogh. Her parents were Johan Oleson and Mary Niska who emigrated from Norway in 1873. They settled first in Hancock and eventually moved to Calumet/Laurium. In the 20s most of the Olesons moved to Detroit.
