    3. Hi Marjorie, I cannot post on the message boards today, they are messed up again. I keep getting errors. I can send in to the list members without a problem though. Here is what I received from the CLK library We have the usual sorts of titles you see in many public libraries, such as Cyndi's List, Finding Your Roots, The Weekend Genealogist, . You can see many of our materials on our on-line catalog at our webpage http://www.clk.k12.mi.us/library. Go to the Library Catalog and search for genealogy as a keyword. We also have some family histories including Copper Range Chronicle, Stories of the Early Years: Matilla Farm, The Fezzey Family History. We have some volumes of the "Descendants of..." series by Lawrence Fader including Descendants of Matthew Bovee, and Selected Obituaries from the Daily Mining Gazette by Fadner. In addition to these resources we have some vertical file material, cemetary records, and microfilm of the local newspapers. They also have the Library version of Ancestry.com of course Alicia > > Well I am not sure about calumet but Houghton has the Houghton County > Courthouse in which you can look up Death, Marriage and Naturalization > records but you have to call before showing up because they have limited > space (906) 482-1150 is their number. and then also in Houghton is the > MTU Archives and they have polk directories, census, newspapers on > microfilm and really nice people to help you find just about anything. > Their web page is http://www.lib.mtu.edu/mtuarchives/ Check out what is > available at the archives.
