Your last residence on the SSDI does not always mean that you died there, but rather that your mailing address for SS purposes was there -- this could be because your legal or court appointed guardian resided at that address. Barbara- I agree with Tony about the Social Security location and the place of death, but I do think if you really have no other ideas, it's a good place to start, particularly for an obituary.
