Hi! My interpretion is : A bit of Finnish into the Wilderness. Which sounds a bit intriguing..... "korpi" normally means "wildernis" on its own (at least in northern Finland and Sweden) so I`m not quite sure way "Villi-" is added. Is anyone out there researching the family tree of Helen Chapin, who married Rush Thompson, son of Caleb? They had a son Wilber, and a grandson named Edward, and a great-grandson named John. An antique store in Calumet has matching photos of Helen and Rush, with this genealogical information written on the back. The dealer said they were acquired locally. If anyone is interested, contact me and I will let you know where they are. I just bought my great-great-grandfather's photo because some kind soul let me know it was for sale, and I would like to reunite these with their family. Dotty Kinnun Bootjack
