    3. Thank you very much for the information! Please mail me the copy of the page, it would be very interesting to analyze it. I think that Milred married Wilbert Bastian in the 20s. He was from Iron Mountain, so I suspect they could be living in that area in 1930. If you have access to this record as well, I would be very happy if you could try to locate them for me. Otherwise, do know how to get access to those records? /Peter ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alicia Koski-Marshall" <alicia@chartermi.net> To: <MIHOUGHT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, January 05, 2003 4:35 PM Subject: Fw: [MIHOUGHT] Alma Svensson/Tornquist > HI Peter, > 1930 Laurium, Mi. Her death certificate is completely different from any of the others that I have received from Houghton Co. It could just be that they changed the form. I am wondering if people with tuberculosis were in a sanitarium at this time and if there is information available.

    3. Alma Christina Svensson (born 1871), one of my grandfather´s sisters emigrated in 1888 from Sweden to North America. I recently found out that she settled down in Calumet, Michigan and married Ernst Emil Tornquist (born 1867). They had two children, Mildred (born 1895) and Ruth (born 1898), and lived in Calumet in 1922. I have got this information from the records of the Swedish-American Churches in Calumet and would appreciate if someone could tell me how to find more information on this family and their decendants. /Peter in Sweden
