They were married on Aug. 12, 1865 in Hancock, Houghton County, MI. Both are buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lake Linden, Houghton County, MI. Charles and Mary had a total of 16 known children. Elsie, Charles, George, William, Georgeana, Delphis, Louis, Joseph A., Albert, Narcisse, Mary E., Joseph Raoul, Roune, ? King, Ed, and Angeline. These names are from the various census and birth records of Houghton County. Most of these children are also buried in the Lake Linden Cemetery.
