    3. The above is going online. I was suprised when I found them in a booklet at the Library of Michigan in Lansing last week. I photocopied the lists of students from it. The list is under the yearbook link in Lists on the index to the site. There is also a list of the men that trained at Camp Custer in 1924 for the Citizen's Military Training Camp. It was a sort of National Guard movement that had started to help keep the public trained for the military. This is under the Military section on the index of the site. And portraits from the book Men Of Michigan 1904 has been added. These are a great set of portraits of businessmen, politicians, government men, and clergy that was published in 1904. The men from Houghton are online now. Under Lists on the index, also. All the above are marked with the little yellow new on the front page of the site. http://www.mfhn.com/houghton/ Have fun and hope you find one or some of yours in the new files. Next some files from Han Cen Hi 1916 will be worked on. 3. Hello, Pardon the x-posting. I was able to borrow books via a library system's Books By Mail program. This library is a three hour drive from me. Until a few days ago, they were going to send me a couple of books about Cornish immigrants to America but they didn't because they unfortunately instituted some rule that bars resident from my county in participating. That was a bummer, since I wanted to know more about my grandfather's Cornish heritage. Anyway, I've included the titles of the two books below. Have any of you read them? And are they worth trying to get them via Interlibrary loan (my local library has a limit) or other sources? What kind of information is included therein? 1. "The Cornish miner in America: the contribution to the mining history of the United States by emigrant Cornish miners--the men called Cousin Jacks." by Arthur Cecil Todd. Published in 1967 in Truro & Glendale, California. 2. "The Cousin Jacks; the Cornish in America" by Alfred Leslie Rowse. Published in 1969 in New York. Thank you! --Chris Sundita __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Tax Center - forms, calculators, tips, more http://taxes.yahoo.com/

The soundex code for Osterman is O236. If U can find them in the soundex system, mark down the ED number and county. Now U can search the census for that ED number and county. Try searching the 1920 census. If U find them there then U will know where to look in 1910.
