There is a William TRESTRAIL (b. 1860 in England) and his wife Carrie (born Jan. 1864 in England) in the 1900 census for Iron Mountain, Dickinson County. Was she ever known as "Carrie?" Let me know if this is her, and I'll send you the details and childrens' names. James TRESTRAIL is in Calumet, Houghton, boarder, born May 1873 in England, immigration 1878, works in copper mine. He's living in the house of John Batten. ED 175, sheet 12. There is also a Simon TRESTRAIL (born 1844 in England) living with wife Mary, children, and in-laws (KEASTS?) in Calumet. Let me know if you want more information on Carrie or Simon. The only John KUNST I can find is in Macomb County and was born in Germany in 1855. He is living with his wife Anna and their children. There are a John and Grace KEAST in Ironwood.
