Linda, I spoke to my Uncle Bob Makolin last night. He said he and my aunt purchased the clothing store in Laurium in 1970 from a Lillian Johnson, wife of Henry (deceased). Lillian was quite elderly then. The Johnsons had 2 children a son Carl and a daughter Verna. As for the first names look for Franciscum, Francis,Frank (Severinski) With or with out the Mihelic part. And also any Gasparovic(Mary,Marium)I'm not even sure how he ended up being a Severinski-Mihelic and I'm also not sure if thats the spelling. So many of the American papers have different spellings for the same people. That makes it difficult to find what we need about our families.
