    3. The cemetery is closed in the winter and does not open till late spring or when the snow is gone and the ground is unthawed.     3. Do you mean the Schoolcraft Cemetery? If so, the rest of the parts of it are inaccessible due to fallen trees and other debris. My great grandfather was a French Canadian trapper named Charles Demarc (1800's) who married my great grandmother who was a Chippewa.
